I just had my first go with the BeamJobs online tool for building resumes and CVs. There’s a bunch of templates to pick from, and once I settled on my favorite, it was super easy to plug in my skills and qualifications! I really appreciated how the app evaluated my resume's quality and gave me tailored tips for making it better. After finishing, downloading the final CV to my personal files was a breeze. Plus, if you’re registered on the site, it keeps a copy of your CV/resume in your online account too. Their customer service is top-notch. I ran into a little hiccup with a server issue that blocked me from updating my CV because of an ad covering part of it. But Daniel from their Support team got back to me fast and sorted it out. I definitely recommend BeamJobs for anyone needing help with their CV and resume!

Creating your resume is a breeze with this tool. I really enjoyed the whole process.

I decided to go for the annual subscription for the resume templates, but I soon found out they’re only available in PDF format (I also need a Microsoft Word version). So, I shot a message to customer support asking if I could get a refund since I had just signed up a few minutes ago. They were super quick to reply, letting me know that a refund was indeed possible. I really appreciate that they made the process easy for me because I’m still looking for a job and can’t afford to pay for something I need (the Word version) but don’t have. Fingers crossed they’ll add more options like that down the line. Their customer service is really responsive, keep it going! 🙂

The CUSTOMER SERVICE team was quick to assist with the issue of uploading my resume. However, when I try to log in on my laptop, it just doesn’t work, but my phone does the trick. I reckon it might be due to my location in Mainland China. This makes it tough for me to edit my resume or create a new one.
